The Engagement Map widget visualizes relationships between people. It does this by creating an aggregation on two different labels in an index.
A typical usage example of this is to run this against indexed call notes which have a label of internal vs. external contact names. For example by default the 1-click Salesforce Sales Cloud Connector will index call notes with a label Owner and Who.name - representing the internal creator of the call report and the contact name respectively.
